Freelance Plumbing Project Manager (Data Centre)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Plumbing Project Manager to lead plumbing installations on a large‑scale data centre project in Frankfurt. The role combines deep plumbing engineering expertise with proven project‑management capabilities in a fast‑paced, high‑value environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plumbing works for the data centre, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate closely with civil, structural and MEP teams to integrate plumbing systems within the overall construction schedule.
• Oversee subcontractors, monitor schedules, budgets and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure health, safety and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track progress, report to clients, consultants and site leadership, and support commissioning and hand‑over phases.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in plumbing or MEP projects.
• Strong background as a plumbing engineer (essential).
• Experience on data centre or mission‑critical projects.
• Exposure to civil infrastructure or construction project management.
• Previous freelance or contract work experience.
