Freelance Rail Electrical Construction Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Rail Electrical Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major rail infrastructure project in the Stuttgart region. This freelance position offers the chance to manage complex electrical installations on a high‑profile railway development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all electrical works on the railway infrastructure project.
• Oversee installation of power supply, cabling, signalling interfaces and rail systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and ensure compliance with German rail standards.
• Monitor progress, resolve on‑site issues and keep delivery timelines on track.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager or Bauleiter in rail or transport projects.
• Strong background in electrical systems for rail, infrastructure or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of German rail standards and site practices is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and site coordination abilities.
