Freelance Video Producer for Technical E‑learning

About the role

We are seeking a freelance Video Producer based in Germany to join an educational content project. You will transform existing technical training material into high‑quality instructional videos for software professionals worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Produce a complete series of instructional videos from pre‑developed scripts and technical documentation.
• Capture clear screen recordings of coding demos, terminal sessions, and software workflows.
• Create and edit animated slide presentations with professional voice‑over.
• Handle all post‑production tasks: editing, audio enhancement, graphics integration, chapter creation, lower‑thirds, timestamps, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure alignment with learning objectives.
• Guide subject‑matter experts during recording sessions to achieve clear presentations.
• Deliver final videos and all source assets according to project timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing e‑learning, software training, or technical instructional videos.
• Strong understanding of code, software demonstrations, and technical documentation.
• Ability to direct and coach presenters or SMEs during recordings.
• Access to licensed video production software and ability to manage the full production workflow independently.
