Frontend Developer (React)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer specialized in React to join a remote‑first team supporting a partner company based in Germany. You will create high‑quality, reusable UI components and transform complex product requirements into responsive, user‑friendly web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable frontend components using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Translate UI/UX designs into accessible, performant web interfaces.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams for seamless integration.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
• Maintain and evolve existing codebases for long‑term stability.
• Implement automated testing with Cypress, Playwright, Storybook, and Chromatic.
• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including component structure and state management.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React (SPA architecture).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and modern styling approaches (SCSS, CSS‑in‑JS, TailwindCSS).
• Experience with GraphQL and Apollo for data management.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain scalable production applications.
• Familiarity with component‑driven development and design systems.
• Good understanding of performance optimization and cross‑browser issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
