Full Stack Engineer (f/m/d)

About the role

As a Full Stack Engineer you will help build and enhance Clariness' digital platform that supports clinical trial recruitment and patient engagement. You will work within a cross‑functional product team, delivering new features, improving performance, and ensuring high‑quality software for our users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new features for a Next.js‑based platform.
• Take full ownership of code, features, and overall product quality.
• Optimize performance across APIs, databases, frontend rendering, and accessibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code (unit, integration, end‑to‑end).
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers in an agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Contribute to scalable engineering practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional JavaScript development experience.
• Fluency in English with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Proactive, quality‑focused mindset and a passion for continuous learning.

Required skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript
• Next.js, React (or other modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, Vue, Svelte)
• Node.js, Express, NestJS
• Relational databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL (NoSQL experience a plus)
• Unit and integration testing tools (e.g., Jest, Karma)
• Docker, Kubernetes (optional)
• CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins – optional)
