Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are a remote‑first, Berlin‑based climate‑tech company looking for a motivated Full Stack Engineer to help companies transition to net‑zero. You will work in a young, international team to build scalable, high‑impact web applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack web applications using React, Vue or Angular on the frontend.
• Build and evolve backend services and APIs with Node.js (REST and/or GraphQL).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, well‑tested code and implement modern design patterns.
• Optimize frontend performance, accessibility and responsiveness across devices.
• Design and manage SQL and NoSQL database schemas and data flows.
• Integrate third‑party services such as authentication, payments and analytics.
• Ensure application security, scalability and reliability.
• Develop unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and infrastructure management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and Git version control.
