Full-time Backend Developer – Python & AWS

About the role

VAARHAFT is a young startup focused on authenticating digital media and preventing fraud with manipulated images, videos, and documents. As a Full‑time Backend Developer you will join the core product team responsible for the “Fraud Scanner”, ensuring its API runs smoothly and evolves with new features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend components using Python.
• Administer and optimise AWS infrastructure (EC2, API Gateway, VPC, S3, DynamoDB).
• Containerise applications with Docker and manage Docker environments.
• Write automated tests, debug issues and guarantee high performance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot production incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience as a backend engineer building scalable web applications.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and quick learning of new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
