Fullstack Application Developer (m/f/d)

About the role

Join syte’s engineering team to shape the way real‑estate professionals interact with data‑driven property development tools. You will own the end‑to‑end experience of a high‑impact SaaS product that bridges complex datasets with critical decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance, scalable features using React, TypeScript, Python and FastAPI.
• Take features from concept to production, defining technical approaches together with senior engineers.
• Maintain a quality‑first mindset, reducing complexity and ensuring seamless integration with existing architecture.
• Learn and apply new technologies such as Three.js or Mapbox, leveraging AI assistants for rapid research.
• Communicate trade‑offs clearly in an English‑speaking, agile environment and participate in peer reviews.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional web development experience (frontend or backend) and at least 2 years in full‑stack roles.
• Fluent in TypeScript and Python, comfortable with modern web stacks and CI workflows.
• Strong understanding of databases (especially PostgreSQL), IT security, cryptography and distributed systems.
• Independent, opinionated work style with the ability to propose specifications when needed.
• Business‑level English; German is a plus.
