Fullstack Developer – Node.js & React (Remote, Germany)

About the role

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer (Node.js/React) to join a partner company’s remote team in Germany. You will work on large‑scale digital platforms serving millions of users across multiple international markets, contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain fullstack web applications using Node.js, React, and related technologies.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Develop responsive, user‑friendly frontend interfaces.
• Participate in architectural discussions and evolve microservices and service‑oriented systems.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code following engineering best practices.
• Implement testing strategies to ensure software quality and stability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact solutions.
• Support API design, documentation, integration, and optimization across multiple services.
• Contribute to containerized deployment environments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Share knowledge, mentor peers, and uphold high engineering standards.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience with JavaScript, including modern ES6+ features.
• Hands‑on experience building backend applications with Node.js and Express.js.
• Proven expertise developing modern frontend applications with React or similar frameworks.
• Fullstack mindset with confidence working across both frontend and backend technologies.
• Practical experience with MongoDB data modeling and query optimization.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch for search functionality and analytics.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and service‑oriented design.
