Fullstack Engineer - AI SAP Platform

About the role

A fast-growing, post-revenue AI startup is building an AI-powered SAP Consultant platform for enterprise customers, working with DAX 40 and Fortune 500 clients. It is looking for a full-stack engineer to join a fast-moving team that builds production-grade applications from the ground up, with end-to-end ownership from business requirements to deployment and monitoring. The position is full-time and on-site in Berlin.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain complete web applications and backend services from concept through production.
• Design responsive frontend interfaces, complex user flows and internal dashboards.
• Develop and manage APIs, background workers, scheduled jobs and automated processing pipelines.
• Integrate third-party APIs, LLMs (agentic workflows, tool calling) and data-ingestion systems, including authorized scraping.
• Oversee cloud deployment, infrastructure monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform load testing and stress testing to address bottlenecks and scaling issues.
• Optimize cloud, database and AI token consumption for cost-conscious engineering.

Required profile

• Proven track record of end-to-end ownership, having built and shipped complete applications.
• Deep understanding of relational database design and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced JavaScript / TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
• Backend with Python, Node.js or similar.
• PostgreSQL and Redis or queues.
• AWS, GCP or Azure and Docker.
• Nice to have: AI-powered products, vector databases (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch), SaaS or marketplace development, browser automation and large-scale data extraction.
