Function Developer – Parking

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Function Developer to design, implement, and deliver parking functionalities within its autonomous driving stack. You will shape how vehicles plan and execute parking maneuvers, from automated assist to remote and valet parking, while collaborating closely with customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own parking features such as Automated Parking Assist, Remote Parking, and Automated Valet Parking.
• Develop planning and control components optimized for low‑speed parking scenarios.
• Utilize internal simulation and data tooling to run extensive virtual tests and analyze real‑world data.
• Validate functions on test vehicles on tracks and public roads.
• Partner with simulation and data experts to accelerate development.
• Collaborate with active‑safety and L2++ teams to share components and processes.
• Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software development experience in driver‑assistance or autonomous‑driving domains.
• Proven ability to take ownership of technical and product decisions.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and cross‑team collaboration.
• Willingness to work onsite in the Stuttgart office with occasional flexibility.
