Future FALs Fuselage & Junctions Process Engineer (d/f/m)

About the role

Airbus Commercial is seeking a Future FALs Fuselage & Junctions Process Engineer to join the FAL Industrial Architecture team in Hamburg. The role bridges the final‑assembly‑line (FAL) design office, manufacturing engineering, and research groups to shape the next generation of aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the lead FAL industrial architect to define the layout and processes for upcoming aircraft generations.
• Develop and maintain KPI projections (cost, lead‑time, non‑quality) and compare them with current aircraft baselines.
• Prepare industrial baseline and trade‑off dossiers that support architectural decisions.
• Represent the industrial architect in cross‑functional project meetings and integrate technical data from design, components, and system engineers.
• Communicate the industrial vision to stakeholders while capturing their requirements.
• Travel periodically to Toulouse and other sites as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, manufacturing or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in industrial environments, specifically on final‑assembly‑lines.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering principles and cost/lead‑time analysis.
• Ability to create clear, objective visions on complex technical topics.
