General Manager (Captain) – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Moxy Berlin Ostbahnhof is looking for an energetic General Manager – known as “The Captain” – to lead the hotel’s daily operations and deliver the distinctive Moxy guest experience. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be the visible leader who inspires the crew, drives profitability and creates a vibrant atmosphere for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and equip the crew to consistently deliver the Moxy experience.
• Oversee all guest touch‑points from self‑service check‑in to lobby ambience, bar service and checkout efficiency.
• Maintain and update social media channels daily in line with Moxy’s creative standards.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and hotel procedures.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and revenue team to optimise pricing and occupancy.
• Monitor forecasts, plan operational actions and drive revenue growth.
• Build community relationships and organise events that enhance the hotel’s brand.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hotel managerial experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Marketing experience and solid knowledge of social media.
• Proven ability to organise events.
• International experience is a plus.
