German Tutor for Arabic Speakers – Flexible Hours

About the role

More and more Arabic speakers are learning German for work, university, relocation, language certificates, or everyday communication. At Nachhilfeunterricht we are looking for motivated German tutors to provide private lessons and support students of all ages and proficiency levels. The position offers flexible hours and the option to teach online, in person, or in a hybrid format.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalised German (DaF) lessons tailored to Arabic‑speaking students' goals and level.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening and speaking.
• Prepare students for Goethe, telc, TestDaF, DSH and other German language exams.
• Create engaging lesson materials and adapt teaching methods to each learner's pace.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to maximise outcomes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of German (native or near‑native proficiency).
• Knowledge of Arabic is highly valued.
• University students, graduates, teachers, translators or language professionals are welcome.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.
• Excellent communication and intercultural skills, with a passion for language learning.
