Global Financial Controller

About the role

The Global Financial Controller will lead financial operations for the Bath & Wellness division, overseeing planning, budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting across multiple legal entities. The role combines global coordination of the financial controller network with direct financial responsibility for entities in the DACH region.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate legal‑entity planning for the Bath & Wellness division, including intercompany relations and mid‑term planning.
• Calculate transfer prices and intercompany provisions together with local controlling teams and the central tax department.
• Prepare year‑end closing documentation, balance‑sheet reviews and impairment tests for shareholding values.
• Build and develop the Financial Controlling team both centrally and within regional clusters.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across internal and external financial reporting systems.
• Support S/4 HANA implementation and integration tasks for Ideal Standard.
• Collaborate with central, local and division functions to meet financial targets and improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct ad‑hoc financial analysis and support special projects.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for DACH legal entities.
• Identify and assess financial risks as part of the risk‑management process.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators, recommend cost‑optimization measures and manage cash flow.
