Global Patient Safety & PV Physician – Inflammation

About the role

We are seeking a senior physician to lead global patient safety and pharmacovigilance initiatives for inflammation‑focused drug programs. The role is strategic, cross‑functional and spans late‑stage development through post‑marketing, ensuring the highest standards of safety and risk management worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement proactive, patient‑centric risk‑management strategies for assigned compounds.
• Oversee all pharmacovigilance activities, including database setup, continuous safety monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development, Global Patient Engagement, Epidemiology and Medical Affairs to produce benefit‑risk assessments and safety‑focused post‑authorization studies.
• Analyze clinical trial safety data and contribute to regulatory submissions such as PSURs, DSURs, RMPs and clinical overviews.
• Chair multidisciplinary Benefit‑Risk Teams and keep senior leadership informed of safety profiles and recommended actions.

Required profile

• Medical degree with clinical and/or clinical‑research experience in the inflammation therapeutic area.
• Deep knowledge of patient‑safety strategies and pharmacovigilance regulations in major markets.
• Experience in clinical development and regulatory submissions is advantageous.
• Strong ethical sense, focus on quality and patient safety, and excellent English communication skills.
