Global Tax Specialist – International Tax Strategy

About the role

As a Global Tax Specialist at ASK Chemicals Group, you will lead the development and execution of the company’s worldwide tax strategy. You will work closely with the Global Head of Finance and cross‑functional teams to provide expert tax advice on complex international matters while ensuring compliance across all jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a global tax strategy in consultation with senior finance leadership.
• Conduct autonomous international and domestic tax planning and recommend actions to optimise internal tax policies.
• Provide insight on tax implications of business decisions and support sales, operations and finance on cross‑border transactions.
• Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive transfer pricing policy.
• Ensure proper transaction flows, documentation and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Supervise and assist in tax audits, manage disputes and minimise litigation risk.
• Prepare tax compliance reports, country‑by‑country reporting and manage the group’s effective tax rate.

Required profile

• University degree in Tax Law, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Several years of experience in international corporate tax, preferably within a multinational industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of transfer pricing, tax audits and cross‑border tax planning.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
