About the role

Join Airbus Defence and Space as a graduate on a two‑year development journey, preparing to become the Overall RPAS Design Chief Engineering Officer for the Eurodrone program. You will receive structured training, rotational assignments and mentorship while contributing to a strategically important aerospace project.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize design for the overall Eurodrone and ensure integration of all level 1 sub‑products.
• Support Eurodrone configuration and loft design, selecting appropriate systems such as landing gear, engine and IPS.
• Steer system and equipment interfaces and drive equipment qualification.
• Coordinate flight‑chain design, including safe flight and landing systems, to maintain safety‑critical standards.
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness, safety, environmental, security and RPAS airport‑operation requirements.
• Integrate and coordinate environmental, EME & Tempest, electrical, RAMT, predictive maintenance, thermal and electrical loads at the RPA level.
• Develop integration and verification plans leading to final certification, from analysis through flight‑test level.
• Represent the Eurodrone Systems community with the Chief Engineering team to internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• A degree in aerospace engineering or equivalent with a focus on systems engineering.
• Recent graduate or limited professional experience in systems engineering, system design or flight physics.
• Knowledge of overall aircraft, system and physical design, as well as flight dynamics, flight mechanics and control laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
