Graduate Field Engineer – Well Construction

About the role

Join SLB as a Graduate Field Engineer in Well Construction and start your career developing technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer relationships. You will work on high‑value, technically complex projects, gaining hands‑on experience in field operations and engineering delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on schedule.
• Execute service delivery to customers on well‑site projects.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain customer contacts to promote SLB products and services.
• Implement the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), conduct self‑assessments and well‑site inspections to meet regulatory standards.
• Support HSE and quality programmes, wear required PPE and follow safety policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date safety training and certifications.

Required profile

• BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field (2:2 or higher).
• Strong desire to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment on technically complex projects.
• Professional proficiency in English and German.
• Legal right to work in Germany.
