Graduate Systems Engineer – Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

About the role

Airbus is launching its AGGP2027 Graduate Systems Engineering programme, starting in October 2027. This two‑year, fully‑sponsored development journey combines on‑the‑job experience with structured training in Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and agile ways of working. Graduates will be embedded in Airbus cabin and cargo projects, gaining hands‑on exposure to cutting‑edge digital technologies and satellite communications.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design and develop aircraft cabin and cargo systems in collaboration with system specialists and external suppliers.
• Apply V‑model, Requirements‑Based Engineering (RBE) and MBSE processes to evaluate, specify, validate and implement system functions.
• Manage project objectives to meet time, cost and quality targets, including certification and in‑service support.
• Guide and coordinate supplier activities throughout the development lifecycle.
• Produce functional and system specifications using model‑based or requirement‑based methodologies.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant engineering discipline (maximum three years of relevant work experience).
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Motivation to work in a collaborative, innovative team environment and to develop leadership potential.
• Willingness to obtain the necessary security clearance.
