About the role

Wolt is looking for a Grocery Shift Lead to manage the daily operations of its grocery store in Hannover. The role acts as the point‑of‑contact when the Store Manager is absent, ensuring smooth service and a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

Oversee store operations and step in for the Store Manager as needed.
Resolve team issues promptly and support staff in delivering service.
Monitor workload, efficiency, and well‑being of the team.
Collect and forward feedback to improve store processes.
Participate proactively in developing store operations.

Required profile

Previous experience as a grocery associate or in a similar retail environment.
Proven experience leading a team in a comparable industry.
Ability to work flexibly at least 40 hours per week across day, evening and weekend shifts.
Professional proficiency in English and German.
Legal right to work in Germany.
