Group Controller – Plant Financial Reporting (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

As a Group Controller you will be responsible for the financial reporting and controlling of 2‑3 production plants within the Swiss Krono Group. You will act as a strategic partner to plant controllers, ensuring data integrity, supporting decision‑making and driving cost‑efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse monthly and quarterly financial reports for assigned plants.
• Validate planning data, reconcile it with group strategy and challenge its plausibility.
• Control Capex projects, contribute to approval processes and verify realised profitability.
• Identify and pursue cost‑saving and revenue‑enhancement opportunities.
• Provide user support for reporting and planning tools to plant and group functions.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses in sales, production, and purchasing domains.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in industrial controlling, preferably as Plant or Regional Controller.
• Strong generalist finance background, including closing processes.
• Proficiency in German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Willingness to travel 30‑50% domestically.

Required skills

• SAP R3 or S/4HANA, especially FI/CO modules.
• Experience with SAP analytical tools such as SAP AfO or SAP Bex.
