Head of Capital Formation & Investor Relations

About the role

The Head of Capital Formation & Investor Relations will own investor engagement and capital‑raising activities for a leading European early‑stage venture capital platform. Reporting to the leadership team, you will shape the firm’s growth strategy by building and deepening relationships with existing and new investors across the DACH region and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all investor‑facing activities for the firm’s venture capital products.
• Develop and expand relationships with angel investors, family offices, institutional investors and other private‑market participants.
• Drive fundraising initiatives, investor engagement campaigns and roadshow events.
• Design scalable processes for investor communication, reporting, due diligence and capital raising.
• Represent the firm externally at investor meetings, conferences and selected events.
• Contribute to new product ideas, market strategies and overall platform development.
• Build and manage an experienced Investor Relations / Investor Partnerships team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, capital formation or a related client‑facing role.
• Strong network of institutional investors, especially in the DACH region.
• Proven track record in fundraising, LP engagement or investor partnerships.
• Deep understanding of venture capital, private markets and the European tech ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution.
• Willingness to be based in Berlin or Munich.
