Head of Capital Formation / Partner – Institutional & Private Wealth

About the role

We are a London‑headquartered institutional private equity firm seeking a Head of Capital Formation / Partner to own and drive our fundraising and investor relations function. Based in Munich, you will lead the end‑to‑end capital formation process, from LP targeting and roadshow execution to final close.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the full capital formation strategy for the firm.
• Lead LP targeting, roadshow planning, and closing activities.
• Build and nurture the investor franchise across institutional and private‑wealth channels.
• Report directly to executive leadership and collaborate with senior investment teams.
• Translate complex investment strategies into compelling narratives for sophisticated investors.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in institutional or private‑wealth fundraising, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven network of pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, family offices, UHNWI and HNWI channels.
• Demonstrated ability to build or scale a fundraising function from the ground up.
• Executive‑level communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Exposure to DeepTech/AI themes is a plus.
