Head of Key Account Management

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a Head of Key Account Management for its Düsseldorf office. You will lead the Key Management team across Europe, driving business performance, regional growth, and client satisfaction for a leading wealth‑management technology provider.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial matters including contract governance, pricing, upselling, renewals and revenue forecasting.
• Enforce accurate forecasting, maintain weekly CRM sales data updates and meet KPI expectations.
• Coordinate with Global Sales Operations, Regional Controlling and Finance for revenue recognition and deal‑structure validation.
• Contribute to regional governance, collaborating with Sales, Project Delivery, AMS, CTO and Strategy functions.
• Lead, motivate and develop teams to foster a collaborative, accountable and customer‑centric culture across Europe.

Required profile

• 10+ years of proven experience leading high‑performing sales teams, preferably in banking, wealth management or fintech.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German (C1 level).
• Demonstrated success in identifying opportunities and executing up‑selling to banks, with experience in both on‑premises and SaaS models.
• Strong C‑level network to leverage high‑value connections.
