Head of Marketplace Integrity

About the role

As Head of Marketplace Integrity you will create and lead a new pillar within GetYourGuide’s Care department, protecting the marketplace from fraud, abuse and exploitation. You will own proactive detection, rapid response and cross‑functional initiatives that safeguard trust, fairness and the company’s financial and reputational health.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale a centralized Marketplace Integrity function covering fraud, abuse and trust issues.
• Serve as the single point of contact for all integrity topics, defining vision, priorities, KPIs and targets.
• Identify and size new abuse vectors, prioritising actions with Product, Tech and Business teams.
• Oversee operational ticket review, pattern detection dashboards and incident response.
• Partner with Product, Legal, Policy and Data teams to implement fixes for root‑cause abuse.
• Lead quarterly “Fraud & Abuse Round Table” and maintain knowledge‑sharing processes.
• Recruit, develop and lead three functional teams (Fraud, Marketplace Abuse, Trust & Safety).
• Promote a culture of vigilance, data‑driven problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Champion adoption of AI‑driven monitoring tools to stay ahead of evolving threats.

Required profile

• 8+ years experience in marketplace integrity, trust & safety or fraud prevention.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of AI tools used for fraud detection and emerging AI‑driven threats.
• Ability to identify new marketplace risks accelerated by automation and generative AI.
• Deep analytical mindset, comfortable with advanced dashboards and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Effective collaborator able to influence executive and technical stakeholders.
