Health & Safety Manager – Construction Projects in Germany

About the role

Our client, a global leader in engineering and construction of large‑scale industrial and energy infrastructure, is looking for a Health & Safety Manager to join its German operations. The role will start on a pre‑energization project in Iven and will evolve into a long‑term position at the company’s operational centre in Cologne.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out health and safety inspections before the energisation of electrical lines and related infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with occupational risk prevention (PRL) regulations and site safety standards.
• Coordinate with construction and engineering teams to maintain safe working environments.
• Support on‑site safety procedures, documentation and reporting.
• Participate in project‑based assignments across Germany as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) covering all three specialisations.
• 2–3 years of experience in Health & Safety or PRL roles, preferably within construction companies.
• Strong knowledge of construction site safety procedures and regulations.
• Fluent German (mandatory) and willingness to relocate to Germany.

Required skills

• Knowledge of occupational risk prevention regulations.
• Experience with pre‑energisation safety inspections.
