Hotel Director – Berlin

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Hotel Director to lead our Berlin property. The role combines strategic planning, operational oversight and guest experience management to drive profitability and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee revenue management across all income streams, including room upgrades and cross‑selling.
• Provide leadership to the hotel team, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
• Conduct regular briefings with department heads to ensure seamless coordination.
• Ensure compliance with operational controls, SOPs, policies and service standards.
• Manage guest complaints and lead service recovery initiatives.
• Prepare, present and achieve the annual operating budget, marketing and sales plan, and capital budget.
• Maintain profitability by exceeding revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
• Lead comprehensive business planning and respond to audits.
• Oversee capital projects, refurbishment and critical property matters.
• Make hiring decisions for hotel staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Hotel Director, preferably in boutique hotels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead day‑to‑day hotel operations and teams.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and results orientation.
• Excellent communication skills in German and advanced English; additional languages a plus.
• EU work permit without visa requirement.
