Hotel Technician (4‑day workweek)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Technician to join the 25hours Hotel Das Tour in Düsseldorf. You will keep the hotel’s technical infrastructure running smoothly while enjoying a four‑day workweek and a vibrant, multicultural team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and minor cosmetic repairs on hotel equipment and machinery.
• Ensure the reliable operation of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, carrying out repairs as needed.
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors for specialised tasks.
• Support and manage small‑scale projects related to facility upgrades.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and site walkthroughs.
• Participate in on‑call duty shifts and daily operational briefings.
• Maintain respectful and collaborative relationships with colleagues and guests.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in a technical trade (e.g., electrical engineering, HVAC, plumbing, mechatronics or similar).
• First experience in a hotel or facility‑management environment is desirable.
• Strong understanding of building systems and a passion for troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and adopt a hands‑on approach.
• Reliable, proactive attitude with a team‑spirit and service‑oriented mindset.
