HR Director

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a global People function from the ground up during an exciting scale‑up phase. Based in Germany, you will define the HR strategy, implement modern people processes, and create systems that support rapid international growth across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive People strategy aligned with rapid international growth.
• Assess existing HR operations and identify AI‑driven automation opportunities.
• Design scalable processes for onboarding, performance management, career development, engagement and off‑boarding.
• Build a data‑driven recruitment framework and establish HR dashboards with KPIs.
• Create transparent grading, compensation, performance review and OKR frameworks.
• Lead global HR operations, coordinating with payroll providers, EORs and local compliance.
• Select and optimise HR technology solutions such as HRIS, ATS and workflow automation platforms.
• Recruit, mentor and lead a high‑performing People & Talent team while coaching managers.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years leading HR or People Operations, preferably building an HR function from scratch.
• Experience in FinTech, Crypto, high‑growth SaaS or similar multi‑regional tech businesses.
• Proven track record scaling organisations from ~50 to 200+ employees.
• Strong background managing globally distributed teams and international employment models.
