HR Manager – Germany

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our German HR function. You will partner closely with the CEO, senior leadership, and regional Centres of Excellence to align people strategies with business goals and support the continued growth of Commerz Globalpay GmbH.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations in Germany, including talent acquisition, employee development, succession planning, performance management and organizational growth.
• Ensure compliance with German labor law, manage employee relations, collaborate with the Works Council, and supervise monthly payroll processing.
• Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational change, and HR transformation while embedding the OneGP philosophy.
• Lead, develop and mentor the local HR team to deliver an exceptional employee experience across the full lifecycle.

Required profile

• Several years of HR generalist experience, including HR leadership or management roles within an international organization.
• Strong knowledge of German labor law, employee relations and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to work with senior leaders on talent management, organizational development and change initiatives.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
