Human Resources Specialist

About the role

The Associate Lead HR supports the HR function by delivering people‑related services, assisting managers and ensuring smooth HR operations. The role focuses on employee lifecycle management, HR projects and the implementation of HR strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute onboarding and off‑boarding processes, acting as the main point of contact for new hires and exiting employees.
• Provide guidance to employees on HR matters, support engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and promote performance and development.
• Assist in implementing HR policies, processes and initiatives; coordinate HR projects, surveys and change‑management communications.
• Support managers on HR topics, handle employee‑relations issues including conflicts, disciplinary actions and investigations.
• Contribute to talent management and retention initiatives.
• Maintain HR documentation, contracts, letters and employee records; manage HR systems and perform administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in HR or a similar role.
• First‑hand experience with German labour law.
• Experience working in a matrix environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Structured, detail‑oriented working style.
• Fluent in English and German.
