ICTP Governance Specialist – Transfer Pricing

About the role

As an ICTP Governance Specialist you will help BASF Agricultural Solutions build a robust intercompany transfer pricing (ICTP) governance framework as the business prepares for stand‑alone operation. You will ensure policies are applied consistently, support IT systems, and keep the function audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the ICTP governance framework across all relevant entities.
• Support selection, implementation and day‑to‑day management of transfer‑pricing IT tools, guaranteeing data integrity and automation.
• Monitor ICTP results, flag deviations and coordinate corrective actions with Controlling and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Tax, Controlling, Legal and operational units to align on transfer‑pricing matters and documentation.
• Prepare and align master‑files and local files with tax advisors, ensuring timely, audit‑ready documentation.
• Oversee data quality, implement governance updates and contribute to standardising transfer‑pricing processes.

Required profile

• University degree in taxation, business administration, economics or a comparable field.
• At least six years of professional experience in transfer pricing, tax governance or related finance environments.
• Strong knowledge of intercompany transfer pricing concepts, documentation requirements and financial process flows.
• Fluent German and English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and manage stakeholder relationships.

Required skills

• Experience with transfer‑pricing software/tools and system implementation.
• High IT affinity, including ownership or rollout of finance‑related systems.
• Data‑management and process‑automation expertise.
• Solid understanding of tax governance and documentation standards.
