Industrial Designer

About the role

We are a rapidly growing embodied AI company that develops autonomous robot systems for multiple industries. We are looking for a talented Industrial Designer to shape the look, feel, and usability of our next‑generation robots.

Key responsibilities

• Design housings, enclosures, and user‑facing components, balancing aesthetics, ergonomics, and brand identity.
• Create concept sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design intent to stakeholders.
• Translate concepts into manufacturable geometry in close collaboration with Mechanical Engineers.
• Build and evaluate prototypes (foam, 3D‑printed, CNC) to validate form, fit, and user experience.
• Iterate designs based on manufacturability, cost, and technical feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating aesthetic sensibility and technical understanding of materials and manufacturing.
• Ability to work at the intersection of design and engineering and communicate decisions to a technical audience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360.
• Experience with rendering tools like KeyShot or Blender.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including injection molding, sheet metal, CNC machining, and 3D printing.
