Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer who is passionate about keeping production systems stable while continuously improving the platform stack. You will own 24/7 IT operations, collaborate with our central SRE team and product‑embedded DevOps engineers, and help shape infrastructure that drives real business value.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure reliability and uptime of production systems, including Kubernetes clusters, networks and storage.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet and other IaC tools.
• Operate and evolve monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki and Cribl.io.
• Respond to incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and drive post‑mortem improvements.
• Build self‑service platforms and GitOps‑based workflows.
• Optimize performance, cost‑efficiency and security of the infrastructure.
• Participate in migrations and modernisations (e.g., VMware → Nutanix, Fortigate → Palo Alto).

Required profile

• Minimum B2 German language proficiency (written and spoken).
• Several years of experience in infrastructure operations and systems engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and modern DevOps tooling.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and a drive to automate.
• Experience in multi‑cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, OVH, gcore, etc.).
