Intern – Structured Debt Finance (Real Estate)

About the role

We are seeking an intern or working student to support our Structured Debt Finance team focused on real estate assets. The role will involve assisting the Debt and Derivative Portfolio Management function in Munich for a 6‑12 month fixed‑term period.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the interface between European Invesco Real Estate offices and lending/hedging partners for the debt and derivative portfolio.
• Ensure operational requirements are met and support day‑to‑day activities.
• Process regulatory requirements related to the derivative portfolio.
• Provide administrative support, monitor and document existing financing engagements.
• Promote collaboration on cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and English.
• Enrolled student in economics, engineering, natural sciences or related fields with strong academic performance (gap year or post‑graduate internship accepted).
• Experience with financial or database‑related projects.
• Meticulous, structured, goal‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Team‑oriented attitude and strong interest in real estate, debt financing and capital markets.
