Internal Auditor – IT

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Auditor – IT to join our Audit function in Bonn. You will provide independent, risk‑based audit services across the whole IT landscape of the DHL Group, helping to safeguard assets and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute process‑ and risk‑based IT audit assignments.
• Develop audit programmes, methodologies and test scripts.
• Conduct opening and closing meetings, interview stakeholders and perform data‑analysis.
• Collect, analyse and document audit findings and deliver high‑quality audit reports.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of audit standards, principles and methods for the IT audit function.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit or assurance within an IT environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess risks and controls.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
