International Healthcare Professional – Long-Term Care in Hannover

About the role

This position is open to qualified nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals living outside Germany who wish to start a career in the German long‑term care (Pflege) sector. Based in Hannover, the role involves providing daily care for elderly residents in a care home while receiving full support for visa processing and qualification recognition.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily personal and medical care to residents.
• Assist residents with everyday needs and promote their wellbeing.
• Monitor health status, report changes and collaborate with the medical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities.
• Follow hygiene, safety and infection‑control standards.
• Provide emotional and social support with respect and professionalism.

Required profile

• Currently residing outside Germany.
• Qualified in nursing, medicine or a related healthcare field.
• German language certificate at minimum level B1.
• Valid passport and willingness to work in the Pflege sector.
• Provide CV, professional/academic qualifications and any employment certificates.

Required skills

• German language proficiency (minimum B1).
