Internship Industrial IoT Devices

About the role

Join the Vehicle Motion Logistic Innovation team at Bosch, where you will help roll out cutting‑edge Industrial IoT (IIoT) devices such as sensors and electronic shelf labels across global manufacturing plants.

Key responsibilities

• Capture site‑specific requirements and evaluate operational needs with local plant teams.
• Calculate business cases, cost‑benefit analyses and feasibility for new use cases.
• Support technical configuration, scripting and integration of devices using APIs and JavaScript.
• Conduct functional testing, troubleshoot issues and create user‑friendly setup guides and documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate remotely with cross‑functional plant teams worldwide (no travel required).

Required profile

• Enrolled in a university program in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field.
• Basic understanding of sensor technology and electronic shelf labels (ESL).
• Practical coding/scripting experience with REST APIs and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of logistics processes, especially internal transport and material flow.
• Strong motivation to drive projects, systematic analysis skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Good command of English and German.
