Investment Associate – Munich

About the role

Our client, a leading investment firm, is expanding its Munich team and is looking for an Investment Associate. You will work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing to execution.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases.
• Conduct commercial, financial, and operational due diligence on prospective investments.
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and supporting analyses.
• Perform market research and industry analysis to identify new investment opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior team members on deal structuring and execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, M&A, Strategy Consulting, Transaction Services, or Corporate Finance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in German; additional languages are a plus.
