iOS Engineer, Mobile

About the role

Mozilla is looking for an experienced iOS engineer to help build and maintain the Firefox iOS browser. You will join a globally distributed team focused on delivering a secure, private, and high‑quality browsing experience for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain native iOS/iPadOS code using Swift.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver new features and improve user engagement.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, fix bugs, and write automated tests to ensure stability and performance.
• Participate in experiments and data‑driven discussions to refine the product.
• Contribute to Mozilla’s open‑source community and communicate transparently with a global audience.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping native iOS applications.
• Strong interest in modern iOS practices such as SwiftUI and MVVM architecture.
• Comfortable working in a distributed, remote‑first environment with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for privacy, open‑source values, and improving the health of the internet.
