About the role

The U.S. Mission in Germany seeks an IT Administrator to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its IT systems. You will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, perform system analysis and configuration management, and work closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IT infrastructure, including operating systems and network components.
• Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to end‑users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Conduct system analysis, configuration management, and regular system audits for compliance.
• Implement network security measures and monitor security controls.
• Educate users on information‑security best practices.

Required profile

• Completed relevant studies in IT, computer science, or a related field.
• Practical experience in computer networking operations, network management, or system utilization.
