IT Solution Architect – Customer Line Operations (Aircraft Delivery)

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Product Architect (f/m/d) to join its Aircraft Test and Delivery department in Hamburg, Germany. You will work on the Customer Line Operations (CLO) suite of applications that support planning, execution and conformity activities for aircraft acceptance and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end technical solutions that translate complex business and functional requirements into sustainable architectures.
• Act as the technical authority for Customer Line Operations, defining architectural vision, standards and road‑maps.
• Design and oversee hybrid‑cloud implementations across AWS public cloud and OpenShift private cloud.
• Integrate solutions with SAP back‑bones while ensuring continuity and avoiding redundancy with existing manufacturing and logistics systems.
• Drive innovation through proof‑of‑concepts and stay current with emerging technology trends.
• Maintain clear architectural documentation, decision records and standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• More than 6 years of experience in IT architecture, including design of complex multi‑tiered solutions.
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages (Java, Python, Typescript.NET) and both relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB) databases.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, IAM, EKS/ECS) and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools (CDK, Ansible).
