IT Support Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable part‑time IT Support Assistant to provide on‑site assistance for our offices in Germany and the UK. The role focuses on day‑to‑day equipment handling, basic troubleshooting and supporting employee onboarding and off‑boarding processes.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute, collect, repair and configure employee IT equipment such as computers, monitors and mobile phones.
• Prepare office workstations and install software for new hires, delivering onboarding and off‑boarding IT support.
• Inspect and maintain meeting‑room and printer equipment, support meeting IT needs, and manage the local IT warehouse and asset records.
• Troubleshoot common software, hardware and network issues on desktops and coordinate fault diagnosis with the headquarters IT team.
• Execute on‑site operational tasks under guidance, including equipment replacement, network device reboot and logistics arrangements.
• Liaise with local suppliers and courier services as required.
• Perform other daily office IT support tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Current undergraduate or postgraduate student, or part‑time worker, available for at least one on‑site day per week.
• Good communication skills in English and the local language; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft 365, capable of basic computer and office‑equipment troubleshooting.
• Diligent, responsible and able to work independently on on‑site tasks.
• Preferred background in Computer Science, IT or related fields, with prior help‑desk or desktop‑support experience.
