IT Support Engineer – Onsite Deskside & Mobility Services

About the role

The Onsite IT Support Engineer will deliver hands‑on technical assistance to end users at client locations in Unterföhring. The role covers deskside support, IT lounge assistance, enterprise mobility services, IMACD activities and basic network troubleshooting, ensuring smooth daily IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for laptops, desktops, peripherals and workplace devices, logging work in ServiceNow.
• Act as first point of contact at the IT Lounge/Walk‑In Center, handling hardware swaps, MFA issues and meeting‑room AV checks.
• Support macOS and mobile endpoints, perform Azure AD device registration and Microsoft Intune enrollment.
• Execute Install, Move, Add, Change, Delete (IMACD) tasks, including imaging, staging and data migration.
• Perform LAN/Wi‑Fi patching, de‑patching and basic cabling, assisting network and telephony teams.
• Maintain asset records in the CMDB, tag devices and manage local stockroom inventory.
• Provide backup coverage for nearby client sites and travel as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in onsite desktop/deskside support for Windows and macOS environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise mobility services, Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.
• Understanding of ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
• Basic networking knowledge (LAN/Wi‑Fi) and ability to perform hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong customer‑facing communication skills and ability to work independently onsite.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in the local language.
