Junior & Assistant Manager – Front of House (Berlin)

About the role

Big Mamma, a fast‑growing Franco‑Italian restaurant group, is looking for a Junior & Assistant Manager to support the Front‑of‑House Manager in one of its Berlin locations. You will help deliver the brand’s high‑standard service, ensure smooth daily operations, and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain service quality, speed and consistency in line with the Big Mamma vision.
• Welcome guests, optimise table turnover and support staff efficiency.
• Drive average check performance through briefings, sales training and coaching.
• Ensure front‑of‑house hygiene standards and compliance.
• Control labour costs, manage team schedules and oversee stock (wine, tableware, aprons).
• Handle cash, maintain equipment and manage orders.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding and daily coaching of front‑of‑house staff.
• Foster team cohesion and positive working relationships.

• Reports to the Front‑of‑House Manager and embodies values of excellence, meritocracy, entrepreneurship and authenticity.
• Committed to delivering a high‑standard guest experience.
• Willing to take responsibility for service quality, staff performance and operational efficiency.
