Junior Commercial Lawyer

About the role

Join Colt’s Commercial Legal team as a Junior Commercial Lawyer and work at the heart of the business, supporting deals across the DACH and Eastern Europe region. You will report to the Legal Director, Central Region, and help balance legal risk with commercial opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality legal advice on customer and supplier matters.
• Support transactional work for sales and supply agreements, from small to large deals.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Assist with RFPs, public tenders and pre‑litigation support.
• Identify and manage legal risk to protect Colt’s assets.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and governance requirements.
• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers and external counsel.

Required profile

• Law degree, preferably from a German‑speaking university.
• 1‑2 years post‑qualification experience, ideally in an international company or commercial law firm.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with strong organisational abilities.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business needs.
• Eager to learn, grow and work collaboratively in an international environment.
