(Junior) Content Editor – LATAM & Spain

About the role

We are looking for a (Junior) Content Editor to join our Berlin‑based Content team, focusing on the Spanish‑speaking market across LATAM and Spain. You will work with experienced editors and external partners to discover, edit and publish football stories, videos and push notifications for millions of fans.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support content partners and their material for platform users.
• Curate, edit and publish football content across articles, video and push notifications.
• Use and experiment with generative AI tools to support content creation and workflows.
• Contribute editorial expertise to develop innovative content tools.
• Identify user needs and deliver matching content.
• Support breaking‑news coverage and aim to be among the first to publish.
• Leverage performance data and analytics to improve editorial decisions.
• Spot issues in content processes and proactively suggest improvements.

Required profile

• Fluent in Spanish and English with excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media production, communications, or at least two years of equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of the Spanish and LATAM football ecosystem and content‑creator landscape.
• Passionate football fan with solid knowledge of leagues, clubs, players and trends.
• Ability to craft compelling headlines and engaging push notifications.
• Positive, open‑minded and eager to learn and experiment with new ideas.
• Comfortable working in an international team.

Required skills

• Experience with generative AI tools for content creation.
