Junior Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to turn large-scale operational data into actionable insights that support our automation design and engineering teams. You will work with Amazon-scale datasets and help drive data-driven decisions across logistics and robotics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Synthesize operational data into insights for automation and engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain metrics, reports, and dashboards tracking key performance indicators for new automation technologies.
• Analyze performance data from robotic storage systems and identify patterns in operational issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and other cross-functional stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
• Conduct curiosity-led investigations into operational data to uncover improvement opportunities.
• Translate complex data sets into clear, business-focused insights using analytical tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics) or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in SQL for data mining, management and querying.
• Experience with a scripting language such as Python, Bash, Perl or Ruby.
• Familiarity with data-visualisation tools like Tableau, Qlikview or QuickSight.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience working with diverse data systems and sources.
