Junior IT Analyst – Entry Level IT Support

About the role

The Junior IT Analyst will support daily IT operations and end‑users at the local Visteon site. This entry‑level position focuses on learning while delivering reliable, secure, and efficient IT support. You will work closely with senior IT colleagues to maintain standard systems and contribute to projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level and basic second‑level IT support to end users.
• Maintain local IT systems in line with global standards and procedures.
• Handle workstation setup, replacement, and basic troubleshooting.
• Assist with software installation, updates, and driver management.
• Support data‑security initiatives through endpoint management and backup activities.
• Log tickets accurately, update status, and resolve issues within SLA timelines.
• Escalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with senior IT staff.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or service desk (internship or traineeship accepted).
• Basic knowledge of Windows client operating systems; Windows Server knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with IT security fundamentals such as antivirus and patching.
• Understanding of Active Directory and networking concepts; Cisco exposure is a plus.
• Good command of English and customer‑oriented communication skills.
